McLaren Formula 1 driver Lando Norris opened up about wanting to do things his own way despite occasionally wishing he had Max Verstappen’s uncompromising attitude. Norris, in his seventh F1 season, has been outspoken about mental health and handling pressure better as he gained experience, noting his contrasting personality with Verstappen. While admiring Verstappen’s fearless approach, Norris aims to forge his path and set a new standard without the need for a confrontational attitude. Norris acknowledged the advantage of experience over his McLaren teammate, Oscar Piastri, who remains calm and unfazed even in high-pressure situations, making Norris seem more emotional in comparison. Despite a setback in the Dutch Grand Prix, Norris’s dark-horse status in the championship race may relieve him of some pressure.
